A fall BioBlitz is the perfect opportunity to get to know some of our less known local insects - the tiny wasps that induce oak galls! Shade Oaks Park has some wonderful Valley Oaks and Coast Live Oaks, with plenty of galls. By the way, these are tiny wasps, incapable of stinging.
