Webinar
Join Grassroots Ecology and BioBlitz.club for an evening presentation about spiders and other creatures you might find at night!
In this month's Grassroots Ecology's Halloween inspired talk, we'll be weaving together stories of spiders and other crawly creatures, from our native black widows and tarantulas to millipedes and scorpions that glow in the dark. Join us in celebrating the holiday, naturalist style!
Shelley Pneh, Ecologist with Grassroots Ecology, will share fascinating facts about local spiders of the Bay Area as well as a few spider-hunting tales.
Merav Vonshak, Ecologist and founder of BioBlitz.club, will be presenting on an assortment of multi-legged critters you might find crawling along on a night hike, or even in your home!
Q&A will follow the presentations.
The talk will take place over Zoom. The Zoom meeting link will be included in the confirmation email as well as on the online event page accessible after registration.
This event is open to all. Grassroots Ecology encourages people from all identities and backgrounds to participate in our programs.
