Virtual Gall and Oak Hike
9:00 AM

Virtual Walk
It's spring gall season - join us virtually to learn about some of the more elusive galls!
Every spring and fall the Bay Area gets swamped by tiny invaders - the gall wasps! These tiny creatures are gall-inducers - they "convince" plants to create little shelters on their leaves, stems, buds, and roots. Inside the gall, the larva develops, feeding on the plant until it's ready to become an adult.
Join BioBlitz.club and Saved By Nature for a virtual walk in Coyote Valley Open Space Preserve. To RSVP - go to https://www.savedbynature.org/event-info/virtual-gall-and-oak-hike
