4th Virtual BioBlitz and Winter BioBlitz at Hellyer Park

We've got two events coming up this weekend - the 4th virtual BioBlitz event, and a self-guided BioBlitz event at Hellyer Park. You can do the virtual event from anywhere you'd like, including Hellyer Park, where you can join the self-guided event at as well. 

The event at Hellyer Park is part 1 of 4 seasonal events planned for this park, in collaboration with KCCB. We already had several events at Hellyer, and we keep coming back, because there are so many interesting plants, animals, and other organisms to see and document. Due to COVID restrictions, this event will be a self-guided event, meaning that we will share all needed resources with our participants, but we won't meet there in person.If you would like to help us document Hellyer Park, please RSVP here. If you'd like to be part of the virtual event, all you need to do is join this iNaturalist project, and then any observation you make during the day will be add to this project, no matter where you are. If you'd like to share photos from the event, you can join our Facebook group here. We will make observations on Saturday, and meet on Sunday afternoon to share our favorite findings on Zoom
