About the event
Almaden Quicksilver is one of the best locations for spring wildflowers in the South Bay. Join BioBlitz club, KCCB, and Grassroots Ecology for another spring BioBlitz at the park. During the event we will explore the park in very small groups and document the flowers and their pollinators, birds, lizards, and everything else! We will use our COVID-safe protocol - we will keep 6-ft apart, wear masks, and we won't share any equipment. As always, our BioBlitz project will be open for observations during the entire day, so feel free to come and explore any section of the park on your own if you'd like. All observations will be authomatically added to our new project. You can view or print our South Bay wildflower flier here.
Look at all the amazing observations we made at the park during our 2019 spring BioBlitz here.
