About the event
Join us for a spring BioBlitz at Alum Rock Park, one of the most beautiful and diverse South Bay parks. We will explore the park in small groups, and document every living thing using iNaturalist. No previous knowledge necessary.
Please note that we will meet by the YSI building, at the end of the road. The park has several parking lots along the road. Keep driving until you reach the last one (and the end of the road). Pay the parking fee (or park at the previous parking lot) and cross the little bridge.
This BioBlitz is part of the City Nature Challenge event - a global iNaturalist competition between many cities worldwide. You can join the Bay Area CNC project here, and the global project here. Join us and help the Bay Area win!
