Alum Rock Park winter 2025 BioBlitz

Join us for a winter BioBlitz event at the beautiful Alum Rock Park. This park is a favorite in any season! Many native plants, animals, butterflies, bobcats, aquatic insects, and planty of birds, are just some of what we will be looking for.  We will walk in very small groups, explore the park, and document all our observations using the free smartphone app iNaturalist. You can download a special flier or the park's birds here. 

Please note that we will meet by the YSI building, at the end of the road. The park has several parking lots along the road. Keep driving until you reach the last one (and the end of the road). Pay the parking fee (or park at the previous parking lot) and cross the little bridge.
