BioBlitz at Coyote Creek Trail near McCarthy Rd

Here we will explore Coyote Creek as it heads out into the Bay! The trail will take us along Coyote Creek, through open fields and rich riparian vegetation.

We love to come here in the fall, when the orb web spiders are at their peak, and we can look for their beautiful webs on the trees, and spot the female spiders awaiting their prey, right on time for Halloween... It's also a great site for birds and some unusual plants!

This site is located in Milpitas, near McCarthy Boulevard. We will start at the Coyote Creek Trail - Ranch Drive entry, and explore north and south along the trail.
