About the event

*This event was rescheduled due to the unhealthy air conditions - our new date is 9/26*

Join us for our first BioBlitz event since SIP has been placed back in March 2020. We will explore the beautiful Los Gatos Creek in Campbell Park. We will learn about the family of beavers that lives there, and document their signs in the area. We will also document the creek's biodiversity - water are so clear, you can see fish swimming. We will try and sample aquatic insects, and document some of the dragonflies and damselflies that fly around. There are many plant species and birds around the creek - we will try to get them all!

We will be practicing social distancing,  wearing masks, and not sharing any equipment. We will use our smartphones to document observations using iNaturalist, and to sign in online. You can join us for guided walk from 9-11 (RSVP required), or you could hike the park on your own during that Saturday, and your observations would be included as well.

Space is limited - RSVP here (free)!
