At this virtual presentation, you'll hear from panelists about segments of the Coyote Creek Watershed, including Coyote Valley citizen science, the Coyote Creek Field Station, the Singleton Crossing fish passage removal, and overall photos documenting the largest watershed in Santa Clara County.
Panelists are:
1. Ron Horii who will share photos to set the stage of Coyote Creek at various stages, from high water to drought levels, historical images and current, and the changes he's seen over the decades of enjoying the Coyote Creek Parkway. Ron is a volunteer with Santa Clara County Park and the Open Space Authority who loves riding his bike and taking photos of nature while learning and sharing the history of these wonderful places.
2. Katie LaBarbera will discuss the long history of the Coyote Creek Field Station where the San Francisco Bay Bird Observatory manages this special place of land bird research…
