About the event
Since 1993, twice a year we survey 250 points across Jasper Ridge Biological Preserve, documenting the Argentine ant invasion into the preserve. Join us to support one of the longest running studies in invasive species ecology! In this 2nd session, we will conduct the actual ant survey. Please only sign up if you attended one of our ant training sessions, and preferably one of the walks. This year's JR ant survey training will be done on the morning of 05/03/2026 or by zoom, stay tuned. We might offer another mid-week afternoon walk just before the survey.
