Tulare Hill February 2025 BioBlitz event

Join us for a special BioBlitz event in Tulare Hill, north of Coyote Valley. This site is protected as part of the Land Trust of Santa Clara Valley ─ Metcalf Energy Center Ecological Preserve and is located on the southend of Tulare Hill along Fisher Creek. Talon Ecological Research Group received funding to conduct a habitat restoration project there through a Santa Clara Valley Water District FY2022 Safe, Clean Water Project F9 Standard Grant; an annual BioBlitz is a component of this 5-year grant. The area is closed to the public, so this is a great opportunity to visit. You can read more about Coyote Valley on the OSA website.

Our first BioBlitz event location - back in 2017 - was in Tulare Hill and Coyote Valley Open Space Preserve. On 11/3 we will go back to Tulare Hill, and see how it has changed in the past 7 years. Join us, and help us…
