9:00 AM
November 16, 2019
Virtual walk - Facebook live
Join The Open Space Authority and BioBlitz.club for a virtual evening activity, learning about iNaturalist and moths
From OSA's ad (click here for the eventbrite page):
Join us in exploring the type of moths that make Coyote Valley Open Space Preserve their home! Just like Entomologists, we will be using black lights to study nocturnal insects in an area. This will be a program in collaboration with iNaturalist expert, Merav, from Saved by Nature, who will help us identify insects and show us how to collect information for iNaturalist. Learn how to use iNaturalist and then identify nighttime insects in your own yard!
This program will be hosted live on the Open Space Authority's Facebook page. All you need is an internet connection and a computer, phone, or iPad.
A Facebook account is NOT required if you are watching from a computer! If you want to watch this livestream from a phone, you will need to have the Facebook MOBILE APP downloaded.
Access the Facebook Live video through this link at 6:00 p.m. on Friday, November 13: www.facebook.com/openspaceauthority/videos.
