This event is part of a new program, in collaboration with Santa Clara Valley Audubon Society and Open Space Authority. We will visit this preserve area once a season for the next three years, and this will be our first event! Laguna Seca is the largest wetland in the county, and it was recently protected. The area is closed to the public, so this is a great opportunity to visit. During the BioBlitz, we will explore the area in small groups, and document every living things together, using the smartphone app iNaturalist.
