A fun hike through Coyote Valley OSP, admiring the native oak trees and their associated galls. This event is a collaboration with Saved By Nature and Open Space Authority.
Join us for a hike in Coyote Valley Open Space Preserve to learn about the local oaks and their associated galls. The preserve has at least six of our native oak species - the more common Coast Live Oak, Valley Oak, and Blue Oak, and also Black Oak, Leather Oak, and Canyon Live Oak.
