Help us document the Argentine ant invasion into Jasper Ridge Biological Preserve! In the first part, we will teach you how to ID local ants, and in the second part (9/18) we will survey the preserve in small groups

Since 1993, twice a year we survey 250 points across Jasper Ridge, documenting the Argentine ant invation into the preserve. This year we have decided to split the training into two meetings - an online presentation and an in-person walk.

On 9/18 from 8:00-12:30 we will conduct the actual ant survey. Please only sign up if you watched the presentation (either live or a recording), and joined one of the walks (9/12 or 9/15).

Stanford University policy requires all volunteers to either be fully vaccinated or show a negative COVID test taken within 72 hours of coming on-site.
