Help us document the Argentine ant invasion into Jasper Ridge Biological Preserve! In the first part, we will teach you how to ID local ants

Since 1993, twice a year we survey 250 points across Jasper Ridge, documenting the Argentine ant invation into the preserve. In this 1st session, we will teach you how to identify the most common Bay Area ants and talk about the survey routines. You can view this webinar for some background about Bay Area ants.

On 9/15 from 8:00-12:30 we will conduct the actual ant survey!

Email Merav if you'd like to participate - meravvon@gmail.com. Even if you can't make it this time, email me if you'd like to join the ant survey mailing list, to be notified about future surveys.
