Help us document the Argentine ant invasion into Jasper Ridge Biological Preserve! In the second part, we will continue our training and teach you how to ID local ants. In the third part (5/20) we will survey the preserve in small groups

Since 1993, twice a year we survey 250 points across Jasper Ridge, documenting the Argentine ant invation into the preserve. In this first meeting, we will teach you how to identify the most common Bay Area ants and talk about the survey routines. Then we'll go for a 2 hour ant walk in Jasper Ridge and improve our ant identification abilities.

On 5/20 from 8:00-12:30 we will conduct the actual ant survey.
